Squire Patton Boggs’ partner Elliot Golding has been recognized by Bloomberg Law in its “They’ve Got Next” series spotlighting privacy and cybersecurity lawyers who are raising the bar in their practice. The current installment features “Five Fresh Faces to Know in Privacy and Cybersecurity” and cites Elliot for his work in responding to a vendor security incident for Volkswagen Group of America and in guiding multinational technology company, Avaya, Inc., through a $500 million strategic partnership transaction.

As he told Bloomberg Law, and I can confirm, Elliot loves to help architect new products and brainstorm operationally on how those things work across the board. He’s in the trenches with clients—and loves building things from the ground up.  Alan Friel, Co-chair of SPB’s Data Privacy, Cybersecurity & Digital Assets practice, commented, “the more challenging the issue is, the more attracted [Elliot is] to it.  For over a decade now, Elliot has partnered with clients, particularly those that manage health information, to proactively manage risk by developing and implementing information governance programs, drafting privacy and security policies, preparing and testing data breach response plans, and negotiating complex data agreements.

Here’s to continued success. Congratulations, Elliot!
