Shea Leitch (Of Counsel, Washington, DC) and Kyle Dull (Senior Associate, New York/Miami) will speak on Friday, September 16, at the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) South Florida Chapter’s 12th Annual CLE Conference, “Casino Royale: Accepting the In-House Mission.” Shea and Kyle’s aptly named panel, “For Your Eyes Only: Dealing with Security Risks, New Privacy Laws, and Vendor Management,” will cover the current threat landscape and the development of cybersecurity programs to meet and respond to those threats, analyze new state privacy laws and requirements for businesses, and provide an overview of vendor management practices, including data processing agreements. In-house counsel, Cecelia Dempsey, Vice President, Global Legal – Corporate Services and Chief Global Privacy Officer, Del Monte Fresh Produce Company, and Daniel McVay, Corporate Counsel, Intuit, will join the CPW team and opine on the steps their companies are taking to meet the changing risk environment, as well as the evolving legal and regulatory landscape.
The ACC is a global legal association that promotes the common professional and business interests of in-house counsel who work for corporations, associations, and other organizations through information, education, networking, and advocacy.
